Shindong from boy band Super Junior and Gyu-ri from girl group Kara will lend their voices for American animation pic “Alpha and Omega (2010),” according to the film’s local provider Pan Cinema on Wednesday.

Pan Cinema announced in a press release that Shindong will play the voice of Humphrey, the omega-male and lowest rank of the wolf pack, while Gyu-lee will share her voice for Kate, who is the smart and proud alpha-female of the pack.

“Alpha and Omega,” helmed by director Anthony Bell and Ben Gluck, tells of the adventure of two wolves who struggle to find their way back home after being stranded in an unfamiliar place. It will open in local theaters on February 24.

Shindong made his debut in the 13-member boy band Super Junior in 2005, releasing numerous hit records and songs including “Sorry, Sorry,” “It’s You,” “Rukkugo” and “BONAMANA.” He has also played the voice of Theodore in the animation flick “Alvin and the Chipmunks” in 2007.

Gyu-ri is the leader of five-member girl group Kara that debuted in 2007 with the album “Blooming” and currently working on their singing careers in both Korea and Japan, promoting their hit songs “Mister,” “Honey,” “Lupin” and most recently “Jumping.”

The two are also co-hosts of MBC’s radio program whose translated title is “Shindong, Park Gyu-ri’s Sim Sim Tapa” which airs everyday at midnight.
