Super Junior’s Shindong splits his pants during ‘SM Town Live Japan’

Super Junior’s Shindong is causing both his fans and netizens to roll around the floor laughing, as he recently revealed his ripped pants through Twitter.

Shindong was in Japan with his labelmates for the ‘SM Town Live‘ concert in Tokyo, and as it turned out, he ripped his pants wide open during the concert.

SMTOWN LIVE Concert in Tokyo, Tickets Participants Exceed 400,000 People

The artists of SM Entertainment proved their popularity in Japan from the huge number of participants for the concert tickets.

SM Entertainment revealed on the 21st that participants to get “SMTOWN LIVE IN TOKYO” concert tickets which was held from December 8th, 2010 to January 7th, 2011 at their mobile site had exceeded 400,000 entries, showing the event’s hot response.

The ticket sales procedure for this concert will be in balloting process where interested participants have to apply through the mobile site.

“SM TOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR” had previously held successful concerts in Seoul, Los Angeles, and Shanghai, thus this overwhelming amount of participants for Tokyo’s concert is a guarantee to lead for another great performance.

The artists participating in the concert include BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girl’s Generation, SHINee, etc and they will be performing their respective hits as per previous concerts. The artists will also include Japanese versions of some of their songs especially for the Japanese audiences.

“SM TOWN LIVE IN TOKYO” will be held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium on January 25th and 26th 2011 (6pm JST).

Jonghyun will not perform at SM Town live in Tokyo

This afternoon, it was updated in SHINee’s Japanese official website that Jonghyun would not be performing for SM Town in Tokyo.

A message was left saying:

Thanks for many applications for SM Town Live in Tokyo. SHINee Jonghyun, who was planning to perform at the concert, cannot appear due to his leg injury. We are very sorry for the news but ask for your understanding. The other 4 members (Onew, Key, Minho, Taemin) will be starring in it.

It has been decided that 「SMTOWN LIVE in TOKYO」 will hold its first performance in Tokyo. The stages of SM ENTERTAINMENT’s artistes, who are active all over Asia, will begin at SMTOWN LIVE and this is the only place where you can see collaborations between the artistes. It is a large-scale music festival where you can enjoy all the diverse stage performances by all the artists.

ELFs’ 700m poster present for Super Junior

The surrounding walls of the Shanghai concert venue attract attention.

In order to show their support for boy band Super Junior, the venue of the Shanghai concert was decorated with a big 700m poster, garnering the interests of those who attended the concert. SM Entertainment, who organized ‘SM Town Live ’10 World Tour’ in Shanghai, was held at the Hongkou Stadium. The fans specially made the banner in Pearl Sapphire Blue colours, and decorated it with hearts and also used both Chinese and Korean words for ‘to believe, to stick together, to never break up and to never give up.”

Super Junior fans expressed that when they knew SM Town was going to be held in Shanghai, they wanted to prepare a ‘special present’, and therefore thought of the idea of having such a huge poster. Because of their love for Super Junior, they used 10 pieces of 70m posters, and then had these posters joined together, creating the 700m poster. As for the posters, fans in Korea commented, “only fans in China can pull this off.’ Super Junior’s company, SM Entertainment also stated that, “when the artists arrive at the venue, they will definitely see the 700m poster, and also added that Super Junior will definitely feel surprised by the fans hard work.”

SM artists bring in 25,000 fans to concert in Shanghai

The artists of top talent agency SM Entertainment held their third concert in Shanghai over the weekend, performing a total of 54 songs in front of 25,000 concertgoers.

At the “SMTOWN LIVE ’10 in Shanghai” held at the Hongkou Football Stadium on September 11, Kangta, BoA, U-know Yunho, Max Changmin, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x) and Zhang Li Yin took the stage to sing their own songs as well as crossover performances with each other.

Singer Kangta sang the title track “Remember” from his upcoming Chinese album, which will be released later this month, and Super Junior unit, Super Junior-M, performed their Chinese hits songs “Blue Tomorrow” and “Me.”

Kangta also gave a duet performance of the song “7989” with f(x) member Sulli, while the singer and the rest of the SM artists celebrated his 15th anniversary in the music industry with a cake and special video featuring his past activities.

“I was surprised because I didn’t know that they have planned this event. I want to thank my fellow labelmates and my fans who congratulated me that day,” Kangta was quoted as saying, adding that he will work harder in the future.

The four hour-long concert wrapped up with a group performance of all the artists singing to H.O.T’s song “Hope.”

SM’s world tour this year first kicked off in Seoul in late August and was followed by the second concert in Los Angeles at the Staples Center on September 4. They will continue on into Tokyo of Japan in January of next year for their final stop on the tour.
