MTV K wrote about the top 10 K-Pop leaders last week with 2NE1′s CL coming in at 10th place and Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon coming in first. Super Junior’s Leeteuk was actually at number 5 and TVXQ’s Yunho at number 3 but ELFs and Casseopia brought them up to 1 and 2 in the poll with well over 800,000 votes in all.
The final results? Congrats to Leeteuk who’s the fan-voted top K-Pop leader!

SHINee’s Onew recently amazed everyone with his “superpower” – his strength in his finger-flicks.
On February 26th, Onew was a guest star on KBS 2TV’s ’100 Points out of 100 Points’. When Onew appeared on set, Park MyungSoo commented, “Recently I felt the power of Onew’s finger-flicking; it was shocking.”, causing Simon D to add, “I’ve also experienced it, it’s really amazing.”, praising Onew on his strength [in his finger-flicks]
Afterwards, Onew was challenged by the cast to crack open a walnut with his finger-flick, and successfully crushed it onto pieces.

What happened was that when Onew and Minho were introducing Lee Jung’s comeback stage on MBC’s Music Core when suddenly Minho’s microphone stopped working. Minho looked surprised for only a moment, and Onew displayed quick thinking by handing his mic to Minho.
As soon as Minho received the mic from Onew, he acted as if nothing had happened and continued naturally. And because of their professionalism, they had received many compliments and praises.
SHINee’s Onew made a star call and in the star call, he mentioned about this particular incident. He humbly said that it was natural for them to react that way but was still very thankful for the praises he had received.

SHINee fans were delighted with the candid interview the boys had on the February 18th episode of KBS 2TV’s “Entertainment Relay“.
The interview kicked off with member Jonghyun revealing that he didn’t think himself to be handsome. This prompted the members to ask Jonghyun about what his mother thought, and with a laugh, Jonghyun responded, “She thinks I’m handsome.”
He then shared a childhood photo where he’s posing in just his swim trunks. He grinned, “I was a lot prettier as a child“, and the show put up the caption “Sexy Jonghyun” next to the photo, which amused viewers greatly.
When asked to choose a physical attribute that he was confident in (aside from his looks), Jonghyun replied, “Shoulders, maybe?”
During the show’s ‘truth’ corner, member Minho was asked to choose his ideal woman, to which he shyly replied, “I like women older than me.”
When asked why, he continued, “For some reason, I like older women more than younger women. I feel more comfortable and at ease.”
The reporter then revealed that she had heard Onew was quite the drinker. Although Onew refused to admit it, Key confessed, “Onew-hyung pours the alcohol! He doesn’t just drink it, he pours it into his body!”
Taemin was then asked whether he thought he had the oldest mental age in the group. He replied, “False!“, and then attempted to go into a long and serious discussion to have some fun with the question.
Minho continued, “When we aren’t able to take care of him, he always tells us it’s okay and is always trying to be understanding.”
